Volkswagen Jetta Generations
Volkswagen Jetta 5 Generation (2019, 2020, 2021)
All Jettas get an updated version of the Volkswagen Car-Net telematics system and a Wi-Fi hotspot (data plan required). Wireless device charging is available, and R-Line models now have a standard six-speed manual transmission. Frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking is included in all trim levels except the base S model, where it is optional. Other available driver assistance features include blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high beams.
Volkswagen Jetta 4 Generation (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018)
The new Wolfsburg Edition features a front sport bumper with fog lights, a Wolfsburg emblem, heated front seats with simulated leather, a trunk opening, and heated windshield washer nozzles. The new SE Sport model gets a sunroof and black accents inside and out, including 17-inch black wheels. All versions come with a six-year / 72,000-mile bumper-to-bumper transitional warranty.
Volkswagen Jetta 3 Generation (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010)
Featuring all-new, sleeker styling, the redesigned 2006 Jetta was significantly larger on the outside than its predecessor and had more passenger and cargo room inside. A multi-link design was adopted for the rear suspension, in place of the previous torsion beam, and a diesel engine was still available in addition to a standard gas engine. The performance-oriented GLI got a larger, more powerful turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 200 hp.
