Xenon lamps do not use in fog lights: constantly changing the configuration of the discharge violates the strictly calculated geometry of the light beam, and the headlight does not perform its direct function. For fog lights it is better to use only LED bulbs.

Toyota Sequoia Generations
Toyota Sequoia 21 Generation (2021)
The 2021 Toyota Sequoia is a full-size SUV that seats up to eight in three rows. It’s powered by a standard 381-horsepower, 5.7-liter V-8 engine that pairs with a six-speed automatic transmission.
Toyota Sequoia 20 Generation (2020)
Push-button start is now standard, as well as a touchscreen multimedia system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity. There’s also a new off-road-oriented TRD Pro model with Fox shocks, 18-inch black forged-aluminum wheels, a front skid plate, aluminum running boards, a roof rack, a front grille with Toyota spelled out across it, LED headlights and fog lights, black leather seats with red contrast stitching and all-weather floor mats. A TRD exhaust system is available, too.
Toyota Sequoia 19 Generation (2019)
There are no significant changes this year.
Toyota Sequoia 18 Generation (2018)
For 2018, the Sequoia has a new four-bar front grille and lower bumper design, with new LED headlights across the lineup. The Sequoia has some interesting proportions, straddling low-profile minivan and school bus. Competitors are moving in one of two directions: rugged (like the Chevrolet Tahoe or Nissan Armada) or more efficient (Ford Expedition).
Toyota Sequoia 17 Generation (2017)
There are no significant changes.
Toyota Sequoia 16 Generation (2016)
For 2016, Sequoia adds Apple’s Siri Eyes Free capability for compatible iPhones.
Toyota Sequoia 15 Generation (2015)
There are no significant changes.
Toyota Sequoia 14 Generation (2014)
For 2014, Sequoia’s audio systems now carry Toyota’s Entune branding, but there are no other significant changes.
Toyota Sequoia 13 Generation (2013)
The 4.6-liter V-8 engine has been discontinued for the 2013 model year, leaving the 5.7-liter V-8 as the sole engine. A Blu-ray backseat entertainment system is newly available.
Toyota Sequoia 12 Generation (2012)
Trailer-sway control is a new standard feature for all models, and a blind-spot warning system is standard on the Platinum trim level. Trailer-sway control uses the stability system’s sensors to detect unintended side-to-side movement at the rear wheels while towing and uses the antilock braking system to counteract yaw caused by unwanted trailer motion. The color of the instrument panel changes from silver to black, too.
Toyota Sequoia 11 Generation (2011)
For 2011, an on/off switch for the daytime running lights is a new feature, and connoisseurs of fake wood will notice that the Platinum model has new wood grain interior trim. Otherwise, there are no significant changes.
Toyota Sequoia 10 Generation (2010)
For 2010, the Sequoia gets a new base 4.6-liter V-8 engine, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Other enhancements include standard driver and passenger knee airbags, Bluetooth, and a USB port for MP3 players.
Toyota Sequoia 9 Generation (2009)
Changes are relatively minor for 2009. A flex-fuel model that can run on E85 has been added, but only on one model: the four-wheel-drive Sequoia with the 5.7-liter V-8. Flex-fuel models are only sold in states that haven’t adopted California’s emission standards.
Toyota Sequoia 8 Generation (2008)
Typical of its class, the Sequoia features a bold design with a prominent grille and front bumper. Three interior trim levels include SR5, Limited, and Platinum. The SR5 has bumpers, side mirrors, moldings, and door handles painted in body color, and the grille is black with chrome trim.
Toyota Sequoia 7 Generation (2007)
The Sequoias have a 118.1-inch wheelbase and have an overall length of 203.9 inches — more than 11 inches longer than the Land Cruiser. Toyota shortened the Tundra’s wheelbase for use in the Sequoia, which is 78.9 inches wide. The Limited rides on 17-inch tires, but the SR5 has standard 16-inch tires. The SR5’s appearance package adds 16-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, and protective plates.
Toyota Sequoia 6 Generation (2006)
The Sequoia accommodates up to eight people in the two front captain’s chairs and two three-seat multi-seats. Its modern dashboard is similar to that of the Tundra. Transitioning to the Limited model adds leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a 10-speaker JBL stereo system. Cargo capacity is 128.1 cubic feet with the seats folded or 36.2 cubic feet behind the third row.
Toyota Sequoia 5 Generation (2005)
Sequoias exhibited a freshened exterior for 2005, which included a new front fascia and grille, standard over fenders, and redesigned tail lamps with clear-lens covers. The V-8 engine gained power and worked with a new five-speed automatic transmission. Side curtain-type airbags that incorporate a roll-sensing feature and extend to protect second-row occupants became optional.
Toyota Sequoia 4 Generation (2004)
Powered by a 4.7-liter V-8 engine, the Sequoia may be equipped with either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. No significant changes are evident in the 2004 models.
Toyota Sequoia 3 Generation (2003)
The Sequoia seats eight passengers with two front buckets and two three-seat multiple seats. Toyota claims that the interior dimensions match the Ford Expedition and surpass the Chevrolet Tahoe. The modern dashboard and control layout are similar to those on the Tundra. The Limited model offers captain’s chairs with leather faces, retractable heated mirrors, and a 10-speaker JBL stereo system. A six-CD changer is optional.
Toyota Sequoia 2 Generation (2002)
Because of its recent debut, the Sequoia is virtually unchanged for 2002, except for new front fog lights and keyless entry, which are now available as standalone options for the SR5 model. The Sequoia is available in SR5 and high-end Limited versions.
Toyota Sequoia 1 Generation (2001)
Launched in the 2001 model year, Toyota’s newest full-size SUV is descended from the Tundra pickup and is produced at the same Indiana plant. At 204 inches long, it is the size of a Ford Expedition and significantly longer than Toyota’s own Land Cruiser.
