Subaru WRX 6 Generation (2020)
WRXs equipped with the available continuously variable automatic transmission come with Subaru’s Eyesight active safety technology, while the car’s optional Performance Package adds Brembo-brand brakes. The WRX STI, meanwhile, now has standard keyless access with a push-button start.
Subaru WRX 5 Generation (2019)
The 2019 new limited-edition Series. Gray models — 750 for the WRX and 250 for the WRX STI — have a gray exterior, black badges, and black 18-inch alloy wheels. WRX STI versions get 19-inch wheels and Bilstein shocks, too. Subaru’s Eyesight safety system is now included standard on WRX models with a continuously variable automatic transmission, and updated multimedia systems with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connectivity are offered.
Subaru WRX 4 Generation (2018)
The 2018 Subaru WRX is slightly updated, with changes to the suspension, power steering, shift lever, and clutch. There’s also a new Performance Package with upgraded brake discs and more aggressive front seats.
Subaru WRX 3 Generation (2017)
Subaru’s race-inspired WRX STI is powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 305 horsepower. It also includes other high-performance equipment such as Brembo brakes and a driver-controlled axle differential, which is part of the standard all-wheel-drive system.
Subaru WRX 2 Generation (2016)
The 2016 EyeSight active safety system, which includes adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking, and lane departure warning and prevention, is now available. A blind-spot warning system and rear cross-traffic alert are also available. A 6.2-inch touch-screen stereo with Pandora integration, Bluetooth audio streaming, and iPod connectivity is now standard.
