Lincoln Navigator 24 Generation (2021)
The Lincoln Navigator is a full-size luxury SUV with seven or eight seats, depending on the second-row configuration. It is powered by a standard 450-horsepower, twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine that works with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive and all-wheel-drive versions are available, and if you need extra space, Lincoln sells a long-wheelbase version called the Navigator L.
Lincoln Navigator 23 Generation (2020)
New standard features include an adaptive suspension, power running boards, a phone-based key, and heated and ventilated front seats. Automatic high-beam headlights are now standard and part of the Lincoln Co-Pilot360 safety system.

There are no significant changes this year.
Lincoln Navigator 21 Generation (2018)
It’s been more than a decade since Lincoln Motor Company last redesigned the Navigator, and some long-overdue changes for 2018 modernize it inside and out, including a luxurious exterior, a new twin-turbocharged engine, and a sleek new multimedia system. There’s also an extended version we haven’t used yet, called the Navigator L, its extra length increases cargo capacity
Lincoln Navigator 20 Generation (2017)
Navigator’s wide range of technological features is also astounding. The standard multimedia system is equipped with the latest version of Ford’s Sync system, Sync 3, and has Apple Car Play and Android Auto compatibility as standard.
Lincoln Navigator 19 Generation (2016)
There are no significant changes.
Lincoln Navigator 18 Generation (2015)
Lincoln has significantly updated the Navigator for the 2015 model year with new styling and a new twin-turbocharged V-6 engine that replaces the previous V-8.

There are no significant changes for 2013.

The 2012 Navigator is now offered with Sync AppLink, which allows voice control of certain smartphone applications. Also, new are spotter mirrors to give the driver a better view of their blind spot.
Lincoln Navigator 14 Generation (2011)
A voice-controlled navigation system with HD radio technology and Sirius Travel Link is now standard instead of optional for the Navigator, which also gets free maintenance for the first 12 months or 15,000 miles.
Lincoln Navigator 13 Generation (2010)
The Navigator gains a few new features for 2010. The standard electronic stability system now boasts trailer-sway control, which can sense from the movement of the SUV if a trailer may be out of control and apply the brakes or reduce engine power. The Navigator also comes standard with Ford’s My Key system, which gives buyers the ability to set maximum speed and volume limits based on the key that’s in use — handy for parents sharing the Navigator with a teen driver. Power-lowering running boards are newly standard, too.
Lincoln Navigator 12 Generation (2009)
New standard features include Front Park Assist, Lincoln Sync, a capless fuel system, rain-sensing wipers, heated second-row seats, and a rearview camera system.
Lincoln Navigator 11 Generation (2008)
A big SUV is all about imposing looks and a powerful engine. The Navigator has no looks, but the 300-horsepower V-8 engine clearly lacks power, especially on takeoff.
Lincoln Navigator 10 Generation (2007)
In the interior, the Navigator has large, plush seats to greet the driver and passengers. There is a giant center armrest with belongings between the driver’s and front passenger’s seats, as well as an armrest separating the second-row seats.

Lincoln’s latest 5.4-liter eight-cylinder engine develops 300 hp and 365 lb-ft of torque. It’s mated to a ZF six-speed automatic transmission. With the right equipment, rear-wheel-drive models can tow up to 8,600 pounds.
Lincoln Navigator 8 Generation (2005)
The 2005 model received a six-speed automatic transmission that promised improved smooth shifting. A new 5.4-liter eight-cylinder engine with three valves per cylinder produced the same 300 horsepower as before, but output torque was increased. AdvanceTrac with roll stability control is now standard on all navigators.
Lincoln Navigator 7 Generation (2004)
The current model features four-wheel independent suspension and rack-and-pinion steering. Like its predecessor, the 2004 Navigator is essentially a dressed-up Ford Expedition.
Lincoln Navigator 6 Generation (2003)
The 2003 Navigator offers several exclusive power features not available on the new smaller Lincoln Aviator SUV. All-wheel-drive (2WD) and all-wheel-drive (4WD) Navigators will be offered in Luxury, Premium, and Ultimate trims.
Lincoln Navigator 5 Generation (2002)
New luxury and convenience features are part of the redesign. The power-retractable footrests available on the top model are advertised by the manufacturer as industry firsts, along with an optional power-retractable third-row seat that folds into the floor.
Lincoln Navigator 4 Generation (2001)
The roof and front door designs have been carried over from the previous model. But the fresh bodywork elsewhere adorns the original design and is said to offer better aerodynamics, cleaner surfaces, and a more dramatic look.
Lincoln Navigator 3 Generation (2000)
Standard equipment includes dual-zone automatic climate control, optional climate control for rear passengers, electric heated mirrors, a six-disc CD changer, and a memory system for the driver’s seat, mirrors, and brake and gas pedal pedals.
