Audi Q5 13 Generation (2021)
Among the upgrades for 2021 in the center console on the 10.1-inch touchscreen: MIB 3 is Audi’s latest-generation multimedia system, which is expected to be 10 times faster than the outgoing MIB 2 system. It can also store up to six driver profiles in the Audi cloud, which means you can walk into your friend’s Q5 or lease a Silvercar, open your profile and adjust to a more familiar environment. The integrated tollbooth and wireless Apple CarPlay have become the new standards, wired CarPlay and Android Auto come standard.
Audi Q5 12 Generation (2020)
The 2020 high-beam assist is now standard.
Audi Q5 11 Generation (2019)
New standard features on the Q5 include standard heated front seats, electric rear child locks, Audi Connect Care, a 7-inch driver infotainment display, and roof crossbars. The Premium Plus trim level adds newly standard navigation, USB charge ports for rear passengers, and wireless phone charging. A parking assistance system is now included on the Prestige trim. The SQ5 adds a less expensive Premium base trim level with standard LED headlights and taillights, plus eight-way power, heated front seats.
Audi Q5 10 Generation (2018)
There’s something new for 2018, however: the hood cut line goes into the fenders, giving it a more one-piece look. The Audi-recognizable grille, with its smooth sides and family-friendly taillights, is quite attractive.

The up level 3.0T Prestige model gets a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel with shift paddles, Audi drive select, and adaptive cruise control. The 2.0T Premium Plus model gets new 19-inch wheels and all-season tires.

Audi Q5 6 Generation (2014)
For 2014, you can get a brand-new diesel variant called the Q5 TDI. It joins a pair of available gasoline engines, including a turbocharged four-cylinder and a six-cylinder 3.0-liter.
Audi Q5 5 Generation (2013)
A new 272-horsepower, supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 replaces the 3.2-liter V-6 offered previously; a turbocharged four-cylinder remains the base engine. Exterior design revisions include new headlights with available LED daytime running lights, a new grille, and updated taillights. On the inside, the Multi-Media Interface controls have updated finishes, and there are new chrome accents on the window controls. The newly available Audi Connect telematics system uses 3G cellphone technology to enable Google Maps satellite-image overlays, real-time gas prices, weather information, news, and Wi-Fi service for up to eight devices.
Audi Q5 4 Generation (2012)
The only noticeable change for 2012 is the addition of the new S line plus option package. It adds 20-inch titanium alloy wheels and a black matte exterior trim. The hybrid model, scheduled for release in 2012, has been delayed until 2013. The 2.0T Premium and V6 with the higher-end 3.2 Premium Plus engine will return for the 2012 model year. The Q5’s main competitors are the BMW X3, Cadillac SRX, and Infiniti EX35.
Audi Q5 3 Generation (2011)
The Q5 gains a 2.0T model with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine teamed with an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive. The 3.2 models continue with a 3.2-liter V-6, six-speed Tiptronic automatic, and all-wheel drive.

The highlight of the Q5 is its powertrain. The specs state that under the hood is a 3.2-liter direct-injection V-6 engine with 270 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque, connected to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Audi Q5 1 Generation (2009)
Perhaps the most common aspect of the Q5 is its size. At 182.2 inches long and 74 inches wide, it’s right in the middle of its peers, with an average turning diameter of 38.1 feet. 18-inch alloy wheels are standard on most configurations. Nineteen-inch models are also available. Twenty inches come with the S-Line package, which also includes more aggressive bumpers.
